Enjoy Africa Day on the 25th of May

May 25 is Africa Day, the official day of the African Union. It is an opportunity to celebrate African diversity and success. This year Irish people will join Africans around the world in highlighting the cultural, social and political life of the African continent.

Irish Aid supporting Africa Day celebrations in Ireland

Irish Aid is the Government's programme of assistance to some of the poorest countries in the world. Irish Aid works on your behalf to reduce poverty, inequality and exclusion in developing countries. This year, the Government will spend €914 million on overseas aid, making Ireland one of the most generous countries in the world.
