How to Apply for WorldWise Funding for 2010/11

Deadline for Applications 22 March 2010

The 22 March 2010 application round for WorldWise funding has now closed. The Grants Committee have allocated funding to schools and networks for the 2010/11 school year. Click here for a full list of grant recipients.

In advance of the deadline a series of information seminars and application workshops were held around the country in February and March 2010.

Schools interested in developing linking projects with partner schools in developing countries applied using the following forms and guidelines:

Networks of Irish schools interested in sharing development education learning and partnership approaches from individual school linking projects used the following forms and guidelines from 2010/11:

Applications had to be sent by email and by post to be:

  • submitted by 5.30pm on Monday 22 March 2010 (e-version)
  • signed by the legal representative of the institution making the application
  • filled out completely, providing the required details on all participants, aims and objectives, activity plans, etc.

Note: the emailed application had to be followed up by an identical hard copy signed by the legal representative by 5.30pm on Thursday 25 March 2010. Without original signatures from the legal representative of the institution applications are considered ineligible.
