What funding is available?

Project Funding

Grants of up to € 3,000 are provided to Irish schools to support development education activities associated with school-to-school linking projects or immersion projects. In the case of school-to-school linking projects, these grants can also be used to support collaborative project work (between the Irish school and the developing country school) and to facilitate communication between the schools.

Reciprocal Teacher Visit Funding

These grants enable visits by teachers from Irish schools to their partner schools in the developing world, in support of school-to-school linking projects. Grants available are up to €1,500 per teacher to a maximum of €3,000 per school where two or more teachers are travelling.

These grants also support return visits by partner school teachers to Ireland. Grant amounts vary: please contact a member of the WorldWise team for more details.
