Partnership Programme for Europe and Central Asia
Partnership Programme for Europe and Central Asia (PPECA)

Irish Aid, the Government's official development assistance programme, will consider applications for support for development projects and programmes in the following countries provided that they are implemented by registered Irish or International NGOs, multilateral organisations, or other registered organisations with relevant competence:

  • Albania
  • Armenia
  • Azerbaijan
  • Belarus
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Croatia
  • Georgia
  • Kazakhstan
  • Kosovo
  • Kyrgyzstan
  • Moldova
  • Montenegro
  • Serbia
  • Tajikistan
  • Turkmenistan
  • Ukraine
  • Uzbekistan
  • Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia
  • Turkey
  • Russia*

Note: Applications from locally registered NGOs can be considered only if they are submitted in partnership with an international NGO based in the EU, US or Canada.

Religious orders which are members of the Misean Cara(formerly Irish Missionary Resource Service [IMRS]) should direct their applications for funding directly to http://www.miseancara.ie/

* As Russia is a G8 country and is therefore not eligible to receive Official Development Assistance (ODA), applications from Russia are not encouraged and will only be considered if they can be justified on the basis of exceptional circumstances. The OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) list of countries eligible to receive ODA can be found on www.oecd.org

The next funding round for 2008 has been scheduled with a closing date for receipt of applications of 30 May 2008. Applications should be made on the application form below. Please submit applications or queries electronically to: PPECA@dfa.ie
