Irish Aid supports Plan programmes in some of the poorest countries of the world including Sierra Leone, Uganda, Tanzania, Niger, Pakistan and many more. Plan receives support under a number of funding lines; EPPR, EHAF, Co-financing and the Organisational Development Grant.
Plan was founded in 1937 and opened in Ireland in 2003. Plan works directly and through local partners in 46 developing countries worldwide. The core areas of operation for Plan include: health, education, habitat, livelihood and building relationships. Plan is expert in child rights and has extensive experience protecting and promoting the rights of children in development and disaster environments. |
